Ground and air transportation
Initial Consultation:
- Contacting the company to discuss transportation details: type of animal, breed, age, destination, timeline, and any special requirements.
- Service cost assessment and provision of a preliminary quote.
Document Preparation:
- Gathering the necessary veterinary certificates, vaccination records, and other documentation in accordance with the destination country’s and carrier’s requirements.
- Some companies offer assistance with paperwork and coordination with veterinary services.
Booking and Logistics:
- Selecting the optimal route and mode of transport (air or ground).
- Booking tickets and organizing all travel stages, including layovers and temporary accommodations if needed.
Day of Departure:
- Handing over the pet to the company representative at the agreed time and location.
- Checking all documents and the pet’s condition before departure.
Tracking and Communication:
- The ability to track the route and the pet’s condition in real-time via mobile apps or upon request.
- Regular updates from the company about the status of the transportation.
Delivery and Handover:
- Delivery of the pet to the designated destination.
